Specifications include, but are not limited to: The VISTA THEATER/LEGGETT RENOVATION PROJECT will include seeking DHR tax credits and other grants and funding. The project is currently applying for a brownfield grant from the state. The work will include new mechanical, plumbing, sprinkler and electrical. Systems are to include BAS controls, test and balance of HVAC, lighting controls, fire alarm, data and security systems. There will also be the need for acoustical and theater consultants. The roof will be replaced on both buildings. There will be the need for 2 new elevators, 1 passenger and 1freight. The exterior facades will need to be repaired to meet DHR requirements. The areas in the theater are to be refurbished as a performance and movie stage. The mezzanine will need to be reconstructed as it is structurally unsound. The Leggett space will include pre-function space, support space for the theater, hotel or apartment spaces, as well as possible restaurant/bure pub in the basement area. Services may include, but are not limited to: professional engineering consultation, field investigations, analyses, feasibility studies, preliminary engineering and architectural reports, permitting, public presentations, architectural/engineering drawings and design, preparation of construction documents, project clarifications during bidding, RFI responses during construction, planning and zoning consultation including site plan review, and erosion and sediment control assistance that maybe required.
