The Successful Offeror shall provide legal counsel, advice, and opinions, responding within 24-hours or sooner to inquiries, both written and verbal, as requested by the School Board and the Administration in the following areas, specifically: School Board Bylaws and Policies and administrative procedures; Requests for information and compliance with the Virginia Freedom of Information Act; State and Local Government Conflict of Interests Act and Ethics in Public Contracting; Virginia Public Procurement Act; Employment law and internal investigations; School law; Title IX investigations and procedures; Policy matters; Insurance and risk management; Special education matters; and Due process hearings for special education and hearings. Other matters requiring legal counsel input or advice.
