Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. The proposed contractor should provide laundry services which includes but not limited to sorting, washing, drying, pressing and folding clothing and other textile items for families participating in the McKinney Vento Program with Chesterfield County Public Schools. Removing stains from items using the appropriate procedures. B. For such purposes, the proposed contractor should have a laundry plant equipped with sufficient number of laundry facilities and equipment such as washing units, dry cleaning units, steam and ironing units and any other facilities and equipment necessary to provide the services in the scheduled time and based on a hygienic standard and should use detergents and chemicals of advanced and licensed qualities.
