Storm shelter per ICC 500 standards: Single-wythe 8” split-faced CMU wall assembly with 2” rigid insulation (R-9.5ci), 3-5/8” light gauge steel (LGS) framing with R-15 batt insulation, and 5/8” gypsum wallboard (GWB). b. Non-storm shelter: Similar CMU walls with insulation and GWB. 3. Roof: One-way pitched/sloped roof transitioning from existing pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) hangar, R-30ci insulation. 4. Exterior: Rated steel frame windows and doors for storm shelter; aluminum storefront and steel doors for non-storm shelter areas. 5. Interiors: Metal stud framed partitions with GWB, solid flush wood doors, barn-style rolling doors, stainless steel toilet accessories, ceramic tile or epoxy wainscot in toilet/utility areas, Technofloor (F-3000) flooring, and 2x2 ACT tegular lay-in ceilings (9’- 0” minimum). 6. Services: HVAC, plumbing, electrical (including emergency generator), fire protection a. Fire alarm system and NFPA 13R sprinkler system, and data/CCTV/access control infrastructure.
