The purpose and intent of this Quick Quote is to obtain a fixed price bid to furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, insurance, and supervision to provide services list in the Scope of Work for three wells at Lake Anna State Park. This project involves weekly (minimum three (3) times a week) water monitoring at three (3) wells located at Lake Anna State Park. Two wells are treated with chlorine, one well with green sand filtration and one with a Culligan system. The third well is untreated and unfiltered. i) Provide a licensed Class 4 operator to serve as the operator-in-responsible-charge (OIRC) for Lake Anna State Park’s facilities and water system. ii) Perform inspection of the water system a minimum of three times per week, including all treatment equipment. Check for proper operation and adjust as necessary. iii) Operate and maintain chemical feed systems for chlorine, including solution replenishment and chemical feeder adjustment. iv) Conduct onsite monitoring of the treated water for iron, manganese, and free chlorine, as well as flow meter readings. Document and retain for park records. v) Perform minor equipment service and maintenance during the routine visits. Minor equipment service includes items, which can be repaired by the mechanic within 15 minutes. There are no labor charges for minor repairs when performed on site during a routine visit. vi) Perform all routine quarterly and annual sampling, including all bacteriological samples and all chemical samples required by the Health Department’s Office of Drinking Water. Said samples will be submitted to a state certified laboratory for analysis. Track the sampling schedule to ensure all samples are collected in a timely manner and monitor results for compliance. vii) Submit operation reports to VDH monthly. Reports will include meter readings, pressure readings, well-pump output, samples collected, results of all field-testing performed by the operator, and any pertinent comments. Copies of these reports will be kept and are available upon request. viii) Attend inspections by VDH staff, if requested. ix) Should repair work be identified during a routine visit, which requires more than minor maintenance, contact the system owner or designee for authorization to perform the required work.
