Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this Invitation for Bid is to establish a requirements contract with a qualified contractor to provide inspections and repairs of the kitchen exhaust hood fire suppression systems in Chesterfield County schools for the Chesterfield County School Board, the Chesterfield County Youth Group Home, the Chesterfield County Juvenile Detention Home, and County Fire Stations. The right is reserved to extend the use of this contract to any County Department. Workmanship The Contractor shall provide experienced, capable personnel to perform the work in a manner satisfactory to the County. All buildings, appurtenances and finishing shall be protected by the Contractor from damage which might be done or caused by work performed under this contract. Such damages to the foregoing shall be repaired and/or replaced by approved methods so as to restore the damaged areas to their original condition at the expense of the Contractor. All inspection and repairs shall be done in accordance with all local and state code requirements. Proper certification and licensing must be in force for the company and employees performing work. Schedule School inspections shall normally be performed twice per year, once in the summer months and once during or shortly after the school system's Christmas break. Inspections and repair shall also be required at other times depending on the school's needs. The Juvenile Detention Home, Youth Group Home, and Fire Stations shall be inspected when requested
