Specifications include, but are not limited to: DAMS Shall be mowed once during second half of June and once in the third week of October, vendor will provide all labor, equipment, and materials to maintain the vegetation on these Dams: Ice House Dam - to include from the water's edge of Ice House Pond to water's edge of Walker Coleman Pond, from spillway at west end to woods at Dam groin at east end. Walker/Coleman Dam - to include from water's edge of Walker/Coleman Pond to water's edge of hatchery pond #1, from spillway at south end to access road at Dam groin at north end. Spring Branch Dam - to include the water's edge of Spring Branch Pond to the rock base at the foot of the Dam, from the spillway at west end to the hairpin turn in the road and the Beach at the east end. Dam Notes: Grass is to be mowed to within 4" of ground. Woody growth is to be killed, cut, and removed. All herbicides and pesticides must be applied per label directions. The foot of each dam is surfaced with large rock (rip-rap). HATCHERY GROUNDS Beginning the third full week of April and ending the third full week of October, vegetation of the hatchery grounds is to be serviced every 2 weeks. Service to include all of hatchery grounds, i.e., around and between all structures, ponds, and equipment, north and west to wood line, south to creek, and east to Walker/Coleman Dam and transition to Ice House. Hatchery Grounds Notes: Grass is to be mowed to within 3" of ground. Woody growth is to be killed, cut, and removed, except: Along wood line. Along creek where vegetation stabilizes creek bank. Along well established trees over 4" in diameter. Within 100' of residence.
