Specifications include, but are not limited to: King George County, Virginia, a political subdivision of the Commonwealth of Virginia and a body politic, (County), herein referred to as KGC, desires to engage the services of a qualified firm(s) to provide Software and Implementation Services for an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Tax Billing, and Business Licensing Software Systems Environment and further detailed below under Scope of Services. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is part of a competitive procurement process that allows KGC to obtain the best value and also provides interested Offerors a fair opportunity for their services and capabilities to be duly considered. Price is not the only factor in determining an award. KGC intends to enter into a contract with the selected Offeror(s) using its standard Goods/Services Agreement. A sample Goods/Services Agreement is attached to this Request for Proposals as Attachment D. The contents of the proposal submitted by the successful Offeror, this RFP and all modifications made thereof, will become part of any contract awarded as a result of this solicitation. For ease of reference, each organization submitting a response to the Request for Proposal will hereinafter be referred to as an “Offeror”. An Offeror whose proposal would result in a formal agreement will hereinafter be referred to as a “Contractor”.
