Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The Successful Bidder shall provide irrigation systems preventive maintenance, repair, and replacement services to include but not limited to: routine preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, spring startup, winterization, repairs and replace of existing systems, on-call and emergency services and repairs, backflow preventer testing and certification, replacement of defective parts and components, installation of new irrigation systems, Testing and Evaluation systems to locate and repair irrigation lines, control wire faults, malfunctioning valves, and other components for new and existing irrigation systems, and any other irrigation services as needed and requested. 2. Parts and components of the irrigation systems covered under the contract includes, but not be limited to pipes, backflow preventor devices, valves, sprinkler heads, pumps, electrical wiring, rain sensors, controllers, and other hardware and related equipment. 3. The Successful Bidder shall provide spring start up services, winterization services, tests, inspections, repairs, and replacement services required to maintain the irrigation systems in proper operating condition at the prices listed on the Bid Form. 4. The Successful Bidder shall be responsible for all inspections, examinations, tests, and maintenance of the irrigation system components to ensure proper equipment operation. 5. The Successful Bidder shall notify the County’s authorized or designated representatives of any components of the irrigation systems that are found to need repair or replacement during the spring start up or winterization services. 6. The Successful Bidder may be requested to plan, design, furnish and install irrigation systems (complete in place and ready for full operation), if needed. If requested, Successful Bidder shall have experience in the design and be regularly engaged in manufacturing and servicing equipment for installations of the type specified. After the installation of any irrigation system, the Successful Bidder shall provide the County with a map of the irrigation system area.
