The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as “VDOT”), an agency of the Commonwealth of Virginia, is soliciting bids from qualified firms to provide equipment with experienced, licensed operators/drivers to perform snow and ice removal services on VDOT maintained Interstate routes and entrance and exit ramps throughout the Bristol District in accordance with the specifications contained herein. This contract will be awarded in five (5) lots. Bidders may bid on one or more lots. In order to be responsive, Bidders shall offer at a minimum all of the Snow Removal Equipment and Operators/Drivers listed for any lot bid, in the quantities indicated on the Bid Pricing Schedule. Bidders bidding on more than one (1) Lot within the Bristol District shall have a sufficient number of pieces of Snow Removal Equipment and Operators/Drivers to cover all lots simultaneously
