Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall provide agent/broker services and assist the City by serving as the broker of record for the placement of the City’s property insurance and selected casualty insurance policies. It is anticipated that this will include parametric and malicious acts solutions in addition to typical open and/or special perils or “all risk” or Difference in Conditions (“DIC”) property insurance policies and liability insurance policies typically maintained by larger public entities. The Contractor may also be asked to assist the City in obtaining technical and other information requiring special expertise to reduce potential losses, i.e., developing business recovery plans, updating computer generated storm-loss damage projections, supporting stakeholder training initiatives, etc.
