The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, parts, supplies and materials, as necessary, to perform the services as described herein. Install appropriately sized sediment filter systems on three homes where Class IIIB wells were recently installed and require additional sediment filtration. The systems installed should have automatic backwash control to assure the filtering media stays clean by periodically backwashing and rinsing the media clean of any trapped sediment. The systems to be installed should have minimal annual maintenance and filtering media that does not need to be replaced more often than once every 3 years under normal residential use. The goal of these systems is to remove sedimentation and reduce turbidity without annual maintenance costs to the homeowner. The backwashing systems should remove and reduce sediments and turbidity. Select the appropriate filter and tank size. For reference a copy of the GW-2 for each well has been provided. All systems should come with at least a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty on any control valves, timers; and at least a 10-year warranty on any required tanks.
