1. Prior to commencement of any work, the Contractor should meet with the appropriate City staff to discuss responsibilities, scheduling, and other parameters associated with the requirements under the contract. 2. The Contractor shall provide all consumable materials and parts needed to maintain the generator equipment per the preventative maintenance requirements. Parts and materials used to perform on-call and repair service shall be provided at the Contractor’s list price minimum minus listed discount in the Bid. 3. The contractor performing this work shall be a licensed Class A Virginia Contractor. 4. The Contractor shall provide inspections quarterly, with one (1) being a Full Preventative Maintenance Inspection. 5. The Contractor shall guarantee that all materials used comply with all applicable laws, ordinances, rules, regulations and codes and are compatible with pre-existing materials and equipment. 6. The City reserves the right to conduct or perform any tests or inspection it deems necessary to ensure that all requirements are met. 7. The Contractor shall have 24-hour emergency on-call service and shall provide emergency service, as deemed by the Agency, within two (2) hours after notification by the City. The Contractor shall have the ability to receive notification of the need for emergency services 24 hours a day 7 days a week, and shall maintain this emergency notification during the entire time that this contract is in force. 8. All reports, including, but not limited to, preventative maintenance, repair tickets, load tests, fuel analysis report, oil analysis, coolant sample analysis, battery tests, etc. completed by the maintenance technician shall be provided via email to the General Manager of Facilities and Grounds. 9. The Contractor shall provide only qualified and licensed generator technicians who a qualified through the factory or other training to work on specific makes and types of equipment listed and who are directly employed and supervised by the contractor. Evidence of certifications and qualifications shall be provided in the contractor’s bid.
