Rockingham County would like to complete grading of undeveloped areas for a 30+/- acre pad and bring Innovation Village from a Tier 4 to a Tier 5 level site. The selected contractor, under the direction of the County, shall perform in a satisfactory and proper manner all the necessary services required for site clearing, excavation, blasting (as needed), grading, and final stabilization of the pad site. Contractors must be VDOT Certified. Contractor will be responsible for the following: • In relation to earthwork quantity for the 30+/- acre pad, bidder will be responsible for their own takeoffs. • Removal and disposal of unsuitable material. • Spread topsoil to a depth of 6 inches across the whole site. • Obtaining all permits. However, the local permit fees will be waived. The bidder will also be required to maintain all licenses for the project
