Specifications include, but are not limited to: I. The Contractor shall install, operate and maintain a telephone system for inmates at no cost to the City of Hampton or the Hampton Sheriffs Office. 2. The Contractor shall provide, dismantle, remove, and/or move equipment as needed within and between all facilities. Any additional items, such as conduit or wiring that is required to operate the system will be the successful bidder's sole cost and responsibility. 3. All equipment must be current, new, and include state-of-the-art telephones and tablets, related hardware and software. The telephone system shall remain the property of the Contractor. The wiring in the buildings is the property of the City of Hampton. Installation of all telephone equipment must conform to standards established by Federal, State, and Local authorities. The Contractor shall be responsible for the costs of upgrading all equipment installed in the event of changes in the law or government regulation (Local, State, or Federal). The Sheriffs Office or City of Hampton assumes no liability for the Contractor's equipment or services required for the system.
