The Contractor shall provide various types of equipment with experienced operators, laborers, certified flaggers, tools of the trade (i.e. Reusable concrete forms, hand tools, trowels, floats, brooms, etc…refer to Section B, Bullet 5 for more information for specialized forms to be fabricated onsite), supervision, fuel, supplies, insurance, and incidentals as necessary for the safe and efficient operation of incidental concrete repair/maintenance. The Contractor shall perform, but will not be limited to, the following work within the Halifax Residency to include the counties of Halifax and Pittsylvania: 1. Sidewalks 2. Curb and Gutter 3. End Walls 4. Wing Walls 5. Paved Ditches 6. Other miscellaneous concrete work as agreed upon by the contractor and VDOT. Work may be performed at any time of the year, including the winter season, weather permitting at the discretion of VDOT. There may be lapses in time between project assignments. The daily hours of use may vary on each piece of equipment. VDOT may require multiple pieces of equipment and operators to be working simultaneously.
