COPE OF WORK: Commonwealth Center for Children and Adolescents DBHDSK The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, tools, transportation, materials, supplies and incidentals to reinstate, replace and commission the operation of the ice storage plant by replacing the current control system and monitoring system that operates the chill water plant on the Agency's chiller plant equipment according to manufacturer's guidelines. All replacement parts that are used in replacement are to be completed by the Contractor or a secondary source shall be warranted as specified by the manufacturer or the supplier. The existing systems are controlled by an existing Alerton plant controller. Project Overview (2) Chillers Ice Storage system and system valves Chill water pumps Heat exchanger Miscellaneous sensors and other chill water plant control equipment Boilers Hot water pumps Miscellaneous sensors and other hot water system control equipment Contractor will implement new control sequences for the chill water plant that includes use of the ice storage system to take advantage of the agency rates that are included in the current energy storage rate structure. Contractor will fully test and commission the system. Controls System Services Contractor shall meet with the Contract Administrators for project coordination. All work is required to be completed in a single phase. Contractor shall coordinate with Contract Administrators for security access project implementation. and Contractor shall manage the project in coordination with the Contract Administrators to include programming & checkout of provided equipment and controls. Contractor shall close out project provisions that will consist of the following: • Backup installed system at completion of project. • Record drawings including 0&M's of provided controls. •One year warranty on all new parts and associated installation labor. o(4) four hours of onsite controls training. Work to be performed during normal working hours.
