Specifications include, but are not limited to: NSTRUCTORS i. Contractor must provide instructors who are certified in the subjects they teach ii. Contractor must provide instructors who have experience teaching adult learners ; iii. Contractor must provide instructors who have a minimum of three (3) teaching experience iv. Contractor must ensure instructors have undergone background and reference checks v. Contractor must provide instructors for day-time (Mon-Fri), night and weekend programs, as well as for on-demand instruction as needed ;i. Contractor must provide instructors and curriculum for training in a variety of delivery methods, including: • In person and onsite instructor led training • Live online distance education training • Self-paced distance education training ii. Contractor must ensure curriculum is up-to-date and meet current certification objectives iii. Contractor must agree to use textbooks and training materials that NOVA Workforce has deemed standard for courses, as applicable iv. Contractor must ensure curriculum includes lecture, visual presentations, hands-on labs, assessments, case studies and/or real life examples to support theory v. Contractor must provide a copy of the syllabus for each class taught prior to delivering instruction.
