The selected Consultant will provide on-call, as-needed technical assistance and programmatic advice to support the City of Danville’s HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), other HUD-funded programs, and similar affordable housing initiatives. Minimum expectations for services include: 1. Ongoing Program Support: Deliver timely consultation to address regulatory, compliance, and programmatic needs for City-managed affordable housing efforts, including participation in meetings (remote or in-person, as requested) with designated City staff, stakeholders, or partners. 2. Document and Project Review: Evaluate program or project-specific documents, review prior and proposed projects for regulatory compliance and best practice alignment, and assist City staff with technical guidance for program management. 3. Compliance and Risk Advisory: Advise on issues impacting compliance with HUD or similar program rules, assist in resolving technical or procedural concerns, and provide recommendations to minimize risks affecting program funding or delivery.
