Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, materials and other incidentals necessary to meet the requirements of the specifications stated within. The work shall consist of cleaning and repairing surface, and installing new sub-liner and liner, to include boots around pipes.. B. Commencement and Execution of Work: The Contractor shall commence work within ten days of Award and shall continuously execute work daily until completed. All work shall be completed, and the work pond ready for VDOT use within thirty (30) days. C. Work Hours: Contractor will be permitted to work Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM. Work outside these hours may be permitted with prior approval from VDOT. D. Relining of New Pond liner Shall Be As Follows: 1. Contractor shall install a 8oz Non-woven Geotextile sub-liner throughout the pond limits. 2. Waterproofing Membrane Liner shall be installed on top of the sub-liner in accordance with the manufactures instructions. The liner shall securely cover the entire work pad area. 3. The liner shall be resistant to UV rays as well as being chemically resistant to salt, chloride and other substances used in the de-icing materials that will make there way to the pond. 4.
