Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Virginia Department of Transportation, herein referred to as “VDOT”, is soliciting bids from qualified firms, to provide on-call, hourly basis, equipment with experienced Operator to perform loader operations at the following locations. St. Louis AHQ Chemical Storage Barn located at 22025 St. Louis Rd., Middleburg, VA. 20117 and also at the Leesburg AHQ Chemical Storage Dome located at 41 Lawson Rd.,S.E., Leesburg, VA. 20175. Request for services will be on an as-needed basis. 1. The Contractor shall provide one (1) Rubber Tire Loader with a qualified, experienced Operator, fuel, tools, parts, supplies, and all incidentals as necessary for safe and efficient operation for each lot that is bidded upon. The Contractor is required to have a minimum of three (3) years experience in providing the type of work as outlined herein. The work shall consist of, but not be limited to, loading trucks with salt, receiving load tickets and stock piling salt, maintaining accurate load counts of salt and following VDOT guidance. 2. Work shall be performed on an on call, as needed basis. Twenty-four (24) hour shifts may be required during snow operations
