II. Scope of Work/Specifications: A. The contractor shall provide all required ground instruction, written tests and FAA Checkride for all three ratings. B. The contractor shall be able to provide aircraft and FAA certified flight instructor(s) full time (40 hr/week) per schedule to be agreed upon post award. C. The contactor/flight school shall be located within 100 nm of the Virginia State Police Aviation Base located at 7521 Airfield Drive, North Chesterfield, VA 23237. D. Priority scheduling for Virginia State Police is requested. E. Additional training hours may be needed over the FAA requirements but shall not exceed 15 hours and shall be provided within the training time required. F. The contractor/flight school must be FAA Certified (Part 61 or Part 141).
