The Authorities are seeking competitive offers for health care benefit plans that are the same or similar to the current benefit structure as shown in Section III. Interested companies are to submit one proposal for health insurance plans that provide coverage to the Rivanna Water & Sewer Authority and the Rivanna Solid Waste Authority (Authorities) as a whole (the Authorities share the same management team, however, exist as separate legal entities). The Authorities’ current, fully insured dual health care plans effective July 1, 2024, are administered by Anthem. The plans operate on a plan year basis. Anthem also administered the Authorities’ health care plans for each of the seven previous plan years. Anthem currently provides two health care plans to active full-time employees of the Authorities. The fully insured health care plans consist of: 1. Healthkeepers POS 30/1000/20% plan; and 2. Healthkeepers POS HDHP/ HSA $3,200/0% plan.
