Under the guidance of staff from the Department of Conservation & Recreation’s Virginia State Parks, contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, materials, seed, chemicals, and fertilizer except as noted herein, to harvest hay on approximately 125 acres of land on the low grounds of Hayfields State Park, in Highland County, Virginia. Any change in cutting times per below must be authorized in advance and in writing by the park manager or designee. A. General Contract Requirements: 1. The Contractor shall use necessary practices to maintain the existing general appearance of the park. 2. The Contractor shall maintain and use the land for harvesting of hay and shall do so in existing hay fields only. 3. The Contract period is to begin from January 1, 2025, or date of award, to December 31, 2029, with 1 optional 5-year renewal. 4.
