Specifications include, but are not limited to: A contract to provide backup services on routine and emergency on-call hauling services in addition or as substitute to currently awarded vendor on an as needed basis in accordance with the professional standard of care and skill ordinarily possessed by a reputable truck hauling service. The Contractor will be required to haul approximately 50,000 tons, + or -, of various types of material from various pick-up locations throughout Virginia to deliver to the City of Hampton. Materials may include but are not limited to wood chips, branches, logs, trunks root balls, leaves, storm debris, construction spoils and debris, broken sections of concrete, stone, sand, soil, hot-mix asphalt, snow, and ice.
