Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The Contractor(s) shall provide a minimum five (5) Tandem-axle dump trucks, one (1) Tri-axle dump truck, and one (1) Quad-axle dump truck with qualified operators, supervision, fuel, tools, parts, supplies and all incidentals as necessary for the safe and efficient operation of the dump trucks to perform general hauling services as listed in this IFB on interstate, primary and secondary roadways throughout the Louisa Residency. The work will consist of, but will not be limited to, hauling asphalt from local plants to state projects, hauling materials such as dirt, stone, construction waste, soil from ditching operations, broken concrete, rip rap and trash and debris and shall work with VDOT Maintenance crews and Contractor crews. 2. In the event of significant snowfall during the winter season, contractors may be required to haul snow from certain roadways to designated disposal areas.
