Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contractor shall install and render operational a new and unused two (2) one ton, twelve (12) 1.5 ton, five (5) 2 ton and one (1) 2.5 ton HVAC, 16 SEER or higher heat pump systems with matching air handlers and associated components. Units to replace must be same tonnage as existing equipment. The contractor shall replace the existing heat pump, to include applicable refrigerant lines, adaptors to old duct work, emergency/auxiliary heat strips, equipment pad and/or snow legs (if needed). The contractor shall replace all thermostats with a new/unused programmable thermostat. The contractor shall provide and install an indoor air handler adequate for the outside unit. Existing electrical connection may be used if it meets manufacturer recommendations. If not, electrical components must be replaced.
