Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, materials, and chemicals necessary to treat approximately 12 (twelve) acres (as depicted in Attachment D) within Claytor Lake State Park. Contractor shall use all necessary practices to maintain the existing general appearance of the Park. A 50 (fifty) foot buffer shall be observed around the shoreline and wet areas within the treatment area. Contractor shall treat all Wineberry (Rubus phoenicolasius), Barberry (Berberis thunbergia), Tree of Heaven (ailanthus altissima), Autumn Olive (Elaegnus umbellate), Multiflora Rose (Rosa multiflora), and Paulownia (Paulownia tomentosa) stems of all sizes within the treatment area. Contractor shall use appropriate herbicide(s) labeled to treat and kill the targeted species in accordance with the product label relating to herbicide concentration, application method and time of application. Contractor shall use all safety and personal protective equipment as required by the product label. Contractor is responsible to provide and post signs/caution tape to let those who may visit the area know that spraying is taking place and/or has taken place. Contractor shall NOT spray for Wineberry (Rubus phoenicolasius) during fruiting.
