Offeror must demonstrate the following minimum qualifications for consideration: 2a. Heavy Duty Truck Repair: • The successful offeror shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, parts and materials, as necessary, to provide repair services to include, but are not limited to, installing engines, replacing starters, performing seat repairs, and other mechanical repairs on heavy duty trucks and trailers. • Provide annual state inspection services as required by the Commonwealth of Virginia. 2b. Heavy Duty Towing Services: • The successful offer shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, parts, materials, and incidentals as necessary to provide towing services to the R-Board (Stafford County). The successful offeror is required to professionally conduct its operations under the scope of any contract awarded as a result of this solicitation, and to provide generally accepted towing services. • It shall be the responsibility of the successful offeror(s) to determine the appropriate wrecker to be sent on any call. The R-Board (Stafford County) employee requesting the service will describe the circumstances of the situation in sufficient detail to allow the offeror to respond appropriately. Contractor shall have at least one wrecker capable of towing a vehicle of at least 30,000 lbs. gross vehicle weight (GVW).
