Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Salem, Virginia (City) is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit sealed proposals from qualified sources to establish a Contract to provide administration of the medical and prescription drug coverage and reinsurance for this program for the City of Salem and Salem City Schools active employees, eligible retirees, and their dependents. It is the intention of the City to award a Contract for an initial twelve (12) month period with the option to renew an additional four (4) one-year periods upon mutual agreement.
