Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, parts, materials, insurance, and other incidentals necessary provide grounds maintenance, landscaping, and snow/ice removal services. Items that need to be addressed in the Offeror’s response are as follows: A. General Grounds Maintenance, Mowing, and Leaf Removal 1. Contractor’s principal place of business shall be located within a 75 mile radius of the VMFA complex so as to assure the capability for providing prompt landscaping, grounds maintenance, and snow removal services. 2. Contractor should provide information of any grounds related professional organization and / or associations that they are a standing member of and provide a copy of the appropriate proof of membership. 3. All work, except snow removal, must be performed between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. unless otherwise approved by the VMFA. 4. Contractor shall provide a Project Manager and Site Supervisor for this contract. These individuals shall be able to communicate in English, with the VMFA contact person and, when necessary, with VMFA guests, patrons, and employees whenever any of the Contractor’s workers are on VMFA’s campus. Contact information shall be provided for the Site Supervisor and Project Manager. 5. Contractor shall be responsible for emptying all of the exterior trash and recyclable collections bins twice weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays on VMFA’s Campus. Replacement bags must be at least 4 mil thick and fit into containers properly. Bags must be removed and handled in such a manner to prevent trash and liquids from leaking onto VMFA’s grounds. Recyclables shall be placed in the VMFA Recycle Dumpster located in the VMFA’s Loading Dock Compound.
