Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Mowing, Trimming, Weeding and Edging: Grounds shall be combed and cleared of any obstructions, trash, or debris prior to any mowing or trimming and dispose of such. Grass shall be evenly cut at a height best suitable for the species of turf and agreeable with Management at the facility. (This height should be around 3 inches) Yard will be maintained at this level from March to October, as needed. Trimming shall be conducted around all vertical obstructions, bedding, trees, shrubs, walkways, pond and streets at every cutting. All bedding, walkways, lots and streets shall be blown clean of grass clippings. Removal of weeds from ground cover areas, mulch beds, flower beds, walkways, and lots will be conducted at this time as well. Bids shall include the need for any herbicides used. Straight edging along sidewalks and curbs shall be completed at each mowing. 2. Wedge Edging: Edging of all mulch beds shall be done prior to mulching with a 2 inch slanted wedge cut along bed edges. This application must be maintained throughout the mowing season. 3. Pruning: Prune all trees and bushes from obstructing or touching buildings or other structures. All shrubbery around the building shall be trimmed to the bottom of window sills, this will allow our residents to see out from their rooms. Shrubbery and trees around the pond shall be trimmed to look neat and well kept, per their variety. All trimmings shall be cleaned up and disposed of.
