Standard weekly grass cuttings for the majority of locations shall include cutting and trimming grass to maintain a grass height not to exceed 3" with reasonable uniformity. Based on programming needs, some locations will be cut on a limited basis, at which time height of grass to be cut may exceed the 4" length specified. The City reserves the right to amend the cutting height requirements, thereby reducing the frequency of cuttings, if required, due to budget restrictions. In addition to cutting and trimming grass, the Contractor shall be required to remove any heavy accumulation of turf clippings; sweep clippings from sidewalks, curbs and building entrances; trim grass next to foundations, fences, light poles, fire hydrants, street sign posts, trees, and other permanent objects; edge curbs, sidewalks, driveways and planting beds; and provide weed control in cracks and expansion joints. Scope of work shall include mowing of ditches and drainage basins, and wet weather conveyances.
