Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this IRFP is to obtain a requirements contract for production related to our activities including graphic art design for collateral, event promotion, advertising, proposal design, communications, website design and updates, social media sponsored ads, and management of approximately 2500 subscribers to the email mailing list of our content management system. The resulting agreement shall be Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIG) type agreement. No funds will be encumbered on the resulting agreement. Funds will be encumbered when a City Purchase Order is issued. Management of Account - Candidate Companies The Norfolk Department of Economic Development requires a graphic designer(s) capable of handling content management and Joomla website coding. The ideal successful offeror: • Shall have minimum of 3 years of experience in servicing a fast-paced organization • Provide fast turnaround (next day and day of service not unusual) • Handle several projects at the same time • Shall be able to work independently; most work flow is via internet • Work as an in-house resource • Provide delivery if necessary • Shall be able to outsource printing and is required to provide quote • Charge a flat hourly rate (1/4 hour charges) for all graphic design • Provide AI/Creative Suite files of finished work if requested Work Description / Deliverables • Event flyer design for approximately 5-10 events monthly to include design, Eventbrite and content management in HTML for our approximately 2200 subscribers. Subscriber data base is composed of various lists which may receive special notifications • Website updates for our website www.NorfolkDevelopment.com; currently utilizing Joomla! Software • Special project production; multi-page brochure and printing management if required • Digital and (offset printing if large volume) print bidding, design and pre-payment of printing cost if required • Designer must have ability to use stock photography/graphics from on line resources such as iStock and will bill for the images • Advertisement production. To include newspaper, magazine, social media banners and Facebook sponsored ads. • Management of internet domain account (Norfolk Development). The firm will provide notification and billing thereof when account comes up for renewal. (Currently 1 domain)
