Specifications include, but are not limited to:Bidder shall be registered, fully licensed and certified by the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice System (DCJS) and able to provide Unarmed Guard and Security Services for the Richmond International Airport, twelve (12) hours per day, Monday through Friday and 8 hours on Saturdays and Sundays including holidays in the Commonwealth of Virginia and Henrico County. The Contractor, including all Unarmed Security Guards assigned to the contract must have a valid Private Security Services Certification issued by DCJS prior to submitting a bid. Contractor and employees must be able to meet TSA requirements and qualifications for Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Identification. The Contractor must be willing to enter into a Security Contract with the Commission and shall be subject to Federal and Airport Police department background security checks, TSA and/or Airport Inspections and tests. Bidder must present evidence of qualifications with Bid submission including, required licenses, certifications, training, etc. for any consideration of award.
