Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Provide design services for DPR’s 55+ Programs (4, quarterly per year) catalogs. o It is expected that the selected Contractor shall be able to complete each catalog assignment within 30-40 hours. b. Use various software programs including the most up-to-date versions of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator), as needed, to complete the work. c. Prepare file in Interactive PDF format and send native files when complete (Adobe InDesign) to the County Project Officer. o The County Project Officer shall have final approval of work. o The Contractor shall send finished projects via email and/or DropBox (or equivalent service) to the County’s contracted print service provider that will print the catalogs, after the County Project Officer’s written approval, or, if an electronic publication, to the County Project Officer once approved. d. Design and layout the pages with content that will consist of 200+ class/programs per quarter. o Standard elements will be included in all catalogs – Department logo, font, Registration information – and will be provided by 55+ Programs at the beginning of the process. e. Create accompanying space ads for special programs and events within each catalog. o Ads will range in size, as space allows, depending on number of events. o The number of space ads will vary per catalog, but approximately 4-6 are anticipated per publication. o The accompanying space ads for special programs and events within each catalog are expected to be completed within the timeframe of the catalog.
