The Institute for Advanced Learning and Research (IALR) hereby invites proposals from qualified companies, organizations, agencies or individuals (“firms” or “offerors”) to provide Business Planning Services evaluate the current business model, develop a future business plan and franchising model, and draft a licensing agreement for Great Opportunities in Technology and Engineering Careers (GO TEC®), a trademarked brand and career exposure program developed and owned by IALR. Scope of work will include the following activities: 1. Discovery meetings with IALR leadership and the GO TEC staff. 2. Evaluation of the existing funding model as part of the future business plan, incorporating finding into the proposed business plan. 3. Research of and comparison to three similar franchised educational products (ex. Project Lead the Way, the Virginia Manufacturing Association’s MT1 curriculum and certification), to include organizational requirements, staffing, market saturation rate, and pricing structure. 4. Research to define and quantify the target market. 5. Cost structure development to support the GO TEC enterprise at IALR. Based on research, provide a recommended organizational structure to support licensing and expansion into other target markets. 6. Projection for licensing potential and revenue forecasting to include a franchise/licensing implementation timeline and three-year and five-year revenue forecast. 7. Develop a Licensing Agreement for use with interested parties.
