Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit sealed proposals from qualified offerors to establish a term contract through competitive negotiation to furnish and install exterior transit bus graphics and to repair exterior transit bus graphics on an as needed basis, for Charlottesville Area Transit (CAT). GRAPHIC DESIGN: The Contractor shall furnish exterior graphics using 3M Controltac Vinyl (3M180CV3) with an over laminate, or approved equivalent, to install exterior bus graphics. 3M Controltac Vinyl (3M180CV3) is made of durable material that is able to withstand the elements well and does not fade in UV light. The application reduces the risk of overstretching during installation.
