Sussex State Prison is seeking a qualified vendor to replace the existing door access control system, existing card readers, and additional card readers. The objective is to maintain security and improve functionality. SPECIFICATIONS • The contractor shall furnish all labor, installation, supervision, equipment, tools, parts, materials, software licenses, programming, integration, high voltage connection, and network connection as necessary, to replace all electronic access control headend and power supplies equipment per all specifications herein and in accordance with manufacturer’s installation manuals, service manuals and/or industry’s best practices including but not limited to ANSI/BHMA A156 standards. New system must not require internet integration. • All hardware shall be properly sealed against environmental elements. • All work shall be performed during normal working hours (Monday through Friday, 8am until 4pm) • All technicians shall be PDK certified. • All installed equipment must be new and not end of life or end of service. • No equipment, software, or firmware with known security vulnerabilities (as listed in the CVE database) shall be installed. • Integrate all equipment seamlessly into our existing controllers. • Adjust or replace door hinges, latches, knobs, etc., or as needed to ensure smoother operations.
