The successful Bidder shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, materials and incidentals necessary to provide fuel products of the types and amounts and to the locations listed in Exhibit A. This includes, but is not limited to the following: 1. Delivery a. Tanks are to be resupplied by automatic delivery when the levels reach approximately one fourth (1/4) capacity. Automatic delivery means without notification from the County, Contractor will make fuel deliveries and not allow the tank to run out. b. All delivery personnel must be properly trained, and deliveries must be completed in a safe and professional manner. c. Deliveries shall only be made using transportation equipment that is designed, maintained and approved for transporting petroleum and/or propane products. Personnel shall be appropriately trained and licensed for vehicle usage and fuel delivery procedures. Proper precautions shall be taken to avoid products contamination and spillage. d. Diesel shall be Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel (ULSD) and #2 fuel oil shall be Dyed Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel (DULSD). e. The Contractor shall maintain detailed information for all deliveries including fuel type, gallons delivered, delivery date and location. f. It shall be the responsibility of the contractor/supplier to maintain sufficient gas and/or propane for satisfactory uninterrupted operation at each location. g. Emergency Delivery: In the event of emergency, Contractor shall have available services to supply needs of the County and be in a position to deliver whenever required. Emergency service shall carry a four (4) hour response time, following initial notification. The Contractor shall provide the County an emergency telephone number for calling nights, holidays and weekends. h. The County will pay the Contractor an emergency fee for any same-day unscheduled deliveries needed. The County will not pay this fee when fuel is low or the fuel tank is empty due to the Contractor’s failure to monitor fuel levels as required by this Contract. 2. Repair and Maintenance a. The Contractor shall provide repair and maintenance services in order to keep all sites operational. This would include but is not limited to tanks, pumps, hoses, nozzles, wires, etc. b. The Contractor is responsible for conducting regular inspections on all tanks and connectors for damage and leaks. The Contractor shall provide an estimated cost of repairs and get proper approval prior to completing any work. Repair service shall be performed and billed based on time and materials.
