Specifications include, but are not limited to:Snack Bar: a. There is a Snack Bar which is incorporated into the dining facilities. Current hours are 6-9:30 p.m. six days a week, but the Center reserves the right to modify these hours in response to changing needs or conditions. Snack bar offers assorted casual foods (See sample and pricing list, Attachment 5). b. The snack bar facility may be closed for approximately two (2) weeks at Christmas and six (6) days at Thanksgiving. c. The Food Service Contractor shall provide continuous management and adequate staff for the Snack Bar during the entire period of the contract. d. The volume of the Snack Bar for 2014 was approximately $52,000.00. This figure includes meal replacements and reward tokens billed to the Center each month. The Food Service will maintain prices in a way as to encourage use by the students at the Center. Annual increases will be limited to the general consumer price index and must have prior approval of the Center Contract Administrator. 4. General Food Policies a. The Contractor shall submit twenty-eight (28) day cycle menus for the cafeteria to the Center Contract Administrator for initial review and approval prior to start of contract. These menus will include a minimum choice of the following: BREAKFAST 2 100% Juices (Cranberry Juice upon request) 8 Bowl Pack Cold Cereals Hot Cereal (during Fall and Winter) 2 Breakfast Entrees one of which is Eggs Breakfast Potato 1-2x per week (within menu mix) 1 Breakfast Meat 3x per week Delete Fresh Donuts Waffles will be served during the week as part of entrée menu Fresh Fruit every day Bananas, Oranges, Apples and Seasonal Fruit 3 Types of Milk – Skim., 1%, Low Fat Chocolate Lactaid and Soy (available on request) Beverages – Coffee, DeCaf Coffee, Tea, DeCaf Tea, Fresh Brewed and Unsweetened Tea, Hot Chocolate (on request) Assorted Condiments LUNCH AND DINNER 1 soup only at lunch (Fall and Winter) 2 Entrees on Menu cycle 2 Vegetables/Sides (unlimited) Salad Bar (unlimited) which includes Tossed Salad, 12 Toppings, 2 FF Dressings, 1 Pasta Salad 1 Miscellaneous Vegetable Salad per menu
