1. The offeror shall furnish and deliver high-quality food stock, food products, and related items as requested to both VSP facilities. 2. The offeror shall provide a complete and comprehensive program for orders, deliveries, invoicing, and evaluation programs to coordinate the best value for VSP. 3. The offeror shall continually apprise VSP of opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining a high standard of food quality. 4. VSP’s expectations are that the offeror shall maintain a high-quality program for warehousing and distribution to ensure that: a) First-in-first-out principles are used. b) Product shelf life is monitored. c) Products are free of damage and spoilage. d) Incorrect products are resolved, and corrective action is initiated within 7 days. e) Customer satisfaction is monitored. f) Salvaged stock shall not be used and shall be replaced at no cost. 5. It is critical to VSP that an alliance be established with the offeror who has a record of conforming to contractual requirements and schedules, reasonable and cooperative behavior, commitment to customer satisfaction, and an overall business-like concern for the interest of VSP.
