The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Security Products International, LLC, 2848 Queen City Dr Ste C, Charlotte, NC 28208 for the acquisition of 25 Firebird Encoder 5G modems with 50 Videosoft Annual 2 Stream Gateway Software 12-month subscriptions. See Attachment 1 for the Schedule. In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), vendors that feel they can meet the Government's requirements detailed above may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the Agency. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price purchase order. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. In accordance with the FAR, the Justification for Sole Source will be posted 14 days after the award. The acquisition will be conducted through FAR Part 13.5 "Simplified Acquisition Procedures." The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 423430. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available. Vendors may submit questions (via email) on or before August 28, 2025, at 10:00 AM Eastern.
