- Inspection of all portable fire extinguishers at City-owned facilities on a routine basis and as otherwise required. - Maintenance and service extinguishers according to manufacturer recommendations and current codes. - Recharge existing extinguishers as necessary. - Hydrostatic testing of extinguishers, per NFPA requirements. - Replacement of fire extinguishers that are deemed inoperable or beyond repair. - Provide documentation and record of all inspections, tests, and maintenance conducted in compliance with NFPA 10 and OSHA standards. - Apply proper tags and labels which indicate the service dates and technician identification. - Provide on-call emergency service, as needed - Conduct inventory management and maintain records of all extinguishers by location and type
