A. The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, tools, parts, materials, supplies and incidentals as necessary for new fence and gate installation. The quoted price shall be the for equipment, equipment operator (when required), materials, accessories, normal mobilization and all associated expenses including but not limited to; profit, direct and indirect costs, administrative cost, equipment and personnel transportation, cellular phones, pagers, handheld radios and transportation, set-up and breakdown of signs and stands. B. The installation shall consist of the use of materials specified by VDOT. The Contractor shall be responsible for all material orders ensuring all dimensions and lengths are correct for locations identified. Fencing services shall consist of furnishing and the installation of chain link fence, 6 foot high, no barbed wire is to be added. All hardware necessary to complete and correctly install the fencing shall be provided by the contractor. C. When digging is required, the Contractor shall contact “Virginia 811”, at a minimum of 3 business days before starting project, for marking underground utilities prior to the performance of work and provide VDOT with the assigned “Virginia 811” ticket number to confirm the site is clear for work to commence. The Contractor shall not dig until verifying the marking has occurred. When the job is complete, the Contractor is responsible for clearing the ticket number. The Contractor shall be responsible for any damages when “Virginia 811” guidelines are not followed.
