Specifications include, but are not limited to: General 1. The equipment must be new, never titled, and unused. 2. All equipment must be standard proven model of manufacturer’s latest current production (2015 model year) and include all standard equipment as detailed by Bidder. All components, unless otherwise specifications herein and/or proposed by the Bidder, shall be the standard equipment specifically advertised and installed by the manufacturer for the model(s) specified and include any additional warranties. 3. Authorized Dealers - Bidders, by offering bids herein, certify they are current authorized dealers in good standing with quoted manufacturer. Manufacturer's written certification of dealer status must be provided within fifteen (15) working days if requested by the City. 4. All specified items must be factory/manufacturer original equipment and all components factory installed, unless otherwise specified or approved by the City. Any vehicle parts, chemicals, tools, equipment, and accessories added to the vehicle after the sale of the vehicle by the original equipment manufacturer to the dealer must be passed on at invoice. 5. Vehicles as configured and ordered, must be fully assembled and ready to operate before being accepted by the City. The equipment must conform to all applicable Federal, State Motor Vehicle and VDOT requirements and standards, including safety standards. 6. No stickers, decals, or plates displaying dealer or distributor name or logo shall be affixed to the equipment, however, manufacturer's plate with model and serial number must be on units, vehicles shall be untitled. Unit must comply with all current OSHA standards. The vehicles will each be offered and priced as a complete unit with line body. The source of information in determining whether or not any equipment is specifically advertised for the vehicle being offered shall be the manufacturer's published literature. 7. The vehicles as configured and proposed by the Bidder shall meet all state, local and federal guidelines, rules and standards. 8. All equipment and options shall be factory installed unless otherwise noted.
