All materials and installation of the fencing shall be in accordance with the City’s Park Facility Standards sheet PR100 – Chain Link Fencing. (Attachment B) Fence ends and corner posts shall be 3” inches outside diameter. Line posts shall be 2.5” outside diameter. Rails/braces shall be 1 5/8” outside diameter. Chain link fence shall include a top and bottom rail and a middle rail at each corner post. Concrete footings to be 1’ 6” in diameter at a minimum and 2’ 6” in depth at a minimum. Top of footing shall be sloped to shed water. Footing shall be installed flush to adjacent finish grade. Contractor shall replace and/or restore any vegetation or landscaping disturbed as a result of the fence replacement project. This shall include, but is not limited to: the replacement of any damaged bushes, shrubs or trees, restoring all grassy areas by re-seeding and placing straw over the re-seeded areas, and filling in and re-seeding any ruts in the grass caused by trucks or machinery. Trash shall be removed from the work site daily. Hours of work 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. The City shall be responsible for the trimming or removal of any trees or limbs as required prior to the beginning of construction. The City desires to have Location #1 Blackwater Creek Park Dog Park started as soon as possible after issuance of a purchase order. Location #2 is not the immediate priority, but can be completed in conjunction with Location #1 if labor and materials allow.
