The purpose of Amendment 0001 is to extend the quote submittal deadline from March 8, 2033, to Friday, March 31, 2023, at 6:00 pm EDT.
The US Fish and Wildlife Service is issuing this request for quotes (RFQ) for SERVICES to mechanically thin an understory regenerating pine stand, as well as remove all regenerating hardwoods on approximately 209 acres and up to 620 acres total on the Great Dismal Swamp National Wildlife Refuge, located in southeast Virginia and northeastern North Carolina.
The awarded order will be for a base line item of 209 acres and two optional lines for the additional 200 and 211 acres. Details are included in the Statement of Work and Wage Determination attached to this RFQ.
Quotes shall be submitted via email to nicole_c_johnson@fws.gov no later than Friday, March 31, 2023, at 6:00 pm EDT. All quotes received will be acknowledged by a return email.
