Provide up to eight (8) sessions per issue/event, per year of high quality, confidential assessment, evaluation, counseling and, if necessary, referral services for issues to include, but not limited to: a. Chemical or alcohol dependence; Emotional distress and anxiety; Job uncertainty; b. Feelings of stress or burnout; c. Anger Management; d. Depression; e. Marital, individual and family discord or dysfunction; legal difficulties; f. Gender counseling; g. Financial difficulties; h. Legal matters; i. Physical illness; j. Major life changes; Balancing work and family; School/classroom issues and misbehavior; and k. Change and time management; and Decision making. 2. Provide master's-level Employee Assistance Program (EAP) counselors, available in sufficient numbers and in appropriate locations to deliver in-person (optional virtual) services for urgent and nonurgent matters (grief counseling, etc.). a. Urgent matters – appointment should be available within 24 hours; b. Non-Urgent matters – appointment should be available within 72 hours. 3. Provide multiple channels for employees to engage EAP services: telephonically, in person, SMS text message and face-to-face through virtual means such as computer, website and phone app. 4.
