Specifications include, but are not limited to: Veterinarian services are mission-critical to the operation by providing immediate care to animals in need. It is the desire of the City to contract with one qualified Contractor to provide emergency medical and surgical treatment for sick and injured animals including examination, inoculation, prescribing and administering drugs if needed. The City requires a qualified Emergency Veterinary Clinic that is able to perform all major surgeries including, but not limited to: orthopedic, amputations, ligament repair, back and hip surgery, full oncology services, CT scans, X-Rays, ultrasounds, ophthalmology, diagnostic imaging, wound care, IV fluids, Parvo treatment, prenatal watch for pregnant animals, euthanasia, necropsies and body prep for rabies testing. Contractor shall also be able to provide full critical care hospitalization for a period of 24 – 72 hours
